Yes and yes
If you miss home then simply hit that place. Once you taste their authentic food then you will know you are home ;)
Delicious and super authentic.~~
The cauliflower sandwich and sumac fries were incredible. Great vegetarian options.
Some of the best hummus I've ever had. Can't put my finger on why... Great place for lunch.
One of the best sandwich shop in the city
Bad service and the run out of basic ingredients all the time.
Great sandwiches. Like a Lebanese burrito.
Very tasty options beyond the usual staples.
Delicious sandwiches and affordable prices
Orange is the new Black
Love the sandwiches
Used to be good years ago. It’s been disappointing last few times i’ve eaten here. I got a late lunch closer to 3pm, maybe the quality is better during the rush hour, but that’s no excuse for bad food. The beef was chewy and the flavors weren’t all that. I paid close to $12 for a very mediocre sandwich with only 3 or 4 ingredients in it. I’ve given it a few too many chances...
This place is underrated for gmaps, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. Great flavors, often what I want for a quick bite. Maybe overpriced but not exactly unusual for the neighborhood.
Stumbled across this sandwich window yesterday on my walk back to the office and a small crowd of 5-10 people waiting for their orders caught my eye. I ordered the Chicken Kafta Sandwich, and was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely have it again, and plan on stopping by again this week!
Small sandwich shop with decent sandwiches. The service could be faster and the size of the sandwich could be a little bigger for the price. But, tastes good. Will visit again :)
Great sandwiches, classic take and go sandwich shop. Be prepared for a wait during lunch rush how. If you love garlic go for the chicken Schwarma otherwise the lamb is great.
Great food, affordable prices, filling portions.
Hole in the wall but good taste and fresh food
Nice Halal sandwiches with a good portion size, I have ordered Shish tawouq sandwich and Sojok sandwich both are ok
Great flavors and the best lebanese sandwiches in NYC. A little overpriced but i strongly recommend the soujouk and the chicken platter.
Great Lebanese food. Takeout only. Good place for lunch if you work in the neighborhood or are in the area. There's no seating, as it's basically a kitchen with a counter, but there's a small park nearby.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. I work in the building next door and when I say I eat here every day for lunch I am not exaggerating. its amazing quality fresh food at a fair price and the people that take your order are the nicest! I hope they continue to succeed and grow
Ordered the 5 piece falafel and lamb kebab sandwich. Delivery came on time and was accurate. Won’t be getting the falafel again. Lamb kebab was just ok. Will look for better options...
I tried the Veggie Lunch platter and can say that their hummus was one of the best ones i've had in New York. The combo are pretty good and you can feel the authenticity of lebanese food in their items. They dont have a seating space for a proper lunch, but good arrangement for customers who want to grab a quick lunch in the middle of a busy working day. Good location and worth the price! 5 stars for good service.
I understand the rent or whatever reason in the area but at the end just simply a "sandwich" with 5 button size chicken in it! ridiculously expensive and plus way to much saltly..8.50 plus tax for falafel!!go down the Mamoun's buy 2 for that price.
Came here at 9 on a Thursday. There was only one other person waiting for their food and my order came quickly. I had the Djuj sandwich. The aioli on it was very sour, but I liked the sanwich. The bread is pressed nicely, and the chicken was great. Not expensive, but really am average price for the food and area
I just can't stand this place. You go there because you want to hear some music and take a break from the hustle and bustle of life. When you get there and see how tight the seating is, you just want to leave. Hard chairs with a 1/2 inch of space between them, It is tighter than an airplane! You just have nowhere to move! On top of it, half the seats require you to turn yourself to the stage and that means you have to turn your neck around for 2 hours. I mean come on: charge an extra $5 a ticket and let people enjoy some music with respect. Money isn't everything. There is a limit to jamming people in to make extra dollars and City Winery doesn't get it. I won't ever go back to this place.
A little pricey, but delicious
That was the best falafel I've ever had and you will ever have too. The sauce was delicious and the whole thing came out perfectly warm... everything melted together so beautifully.
Great litte takeaway spot. Food was amazing, although I am biased since it reminded me of my moms cooking. Haven't had her cooking in a few years. Will definitely be eating lunch there again.
Good sandwiches. Arrive early for lunch, they tend to run out of some sandwiches. All of them are tasty.
Fast and reliable service. Love their watermelon drink.
People are friendly, beef sandwich was awesome! Just a tiny bit dry - I might grab one of the sauces too next time. The sandwich was much larger than I expected and the meat was seasoned perfectly. I’m writing this because someone said the reviews are fake! I write this review as I’m hungry for one of their sandwiches right NOW. Unfortunately I live far away on the UES :) Until next time!
I got the chicken shawarma salad from here. The zatar chips and salad was good but the chicken was way too salty. I had another coworker taste it and they agreed, it was horrifically salty. Had to wash it down with lots of water. The yogurt dip was okay. Didn’t live up to my expectations from a $15.49 salad. I would skip this spot 😅
Rediculously expensive prices for the offered value. The food is very salty and not at all fresh nor authentic. Customer service is nonexistent at this place.
Very good sandwiches and not that expensive for that quality. Count more or less $10 for a sandwich, $15 for a dish
Best Falafel! Tasted freshly made! Salad combo was delicious. Sojuk Sandwich was tasty!
Very tasty 👌 and you must try the watermelon drink, it is amazing!
Best value for money and the food is exceptional at this place. Simply loved the batata wrap.
10 bucks for a mediocre falafel.
Great food for lunch takeout
I found it walking and it was one of the only affordable places in that part of Manhattan. The sandwhich was really good and had a good size, you will get full here. The service was really quick and polite.
Food is awesome but costumer service is poor. The cashier guy definitely doesn’t want to be there dealing with costumers, not helpful at all
Food is great, I always order the Falafel wrap with fries. They are literally a tower of fries, but best fries in town especially with the garlic sauce that comes with it. I may actually get it for lunch today... YUM 🤤
I really love the food here but the person on the counter is extremely rude! He is annoyed with questions and doesn't clarifies orders.
Horrible customer service and cooks dont know what they are doing
Food tastes really good. Wait is a bit longer. There is like 1 bench to sit rest of the open place to stand and wait. It is like food truck settled in concrete 😂. The food has never disappointed me though.
After multiple calls through Seamless and the restaurant, the food never showed up. Terrible service. No food. Better Lebanese food available throughout the city. Would never consider ordering from them again.
Really good!!
